HOW TO BOOK
read the terms of service + fill out the book a tattoo form
the form is very straightforward and will ask you for details such as the size and placement of your tattoo, your availability and your budget
once you have submitted the form, I will get back to you by email with date options and more details
BOOKING FLASH
take a screenshot of your desired flash and upload it to the form
modifications are generally possible upon request
BOOKING A CUSTOM PROJECT
be as descriptive as possible with your project idea. if you need to talk through it first, feel free to message me through instagram or by email!
upload to the form:

inspiration and reference images, sketches of your idea or style samples from my own tattoos

please limit example of tattoos by other artists to 1 or 2

please do not use any AI generated images as inspiration - instead upload a messy sketch by your own human hand!
CONSULTATION
a free in person consultation may be required for complex custom pieces.
you can equally request a consultation if you feel nervous or want to talk about your project in person.
TIPS
tips are customary but not mandatory. if you want to offer me something other than cash as a tip please check in first!

art and tattoos can be a healing experience and I want my work to be accessible to all.
I am open to discussing alternative pricing and payment options.

PROCESS & TERMS OF SERVICE
PRE-TATTOO
once I receive your form I will get back to you by email with the location of the appointment and date options.
free in-person consultations: a consultation may be required for more complex pieces or placements. if you are feeling nervous or want to talk in person about your project, feel free to request a consultation!
for custom tattoos: you can expect to receive a sketch 1-3 days before your appointment. at this point you can give me feedback and make any major compositional changes. minor changes can be made on the day of your appointment.
tattoo prep: for best results keep your body well hydrated and your skin moisturized for at least 1 week leading up to the appointment. make sure to come to your appointment fed and hydrated, well rested and don't plan anything strenuous for after your tattoo. ensure your skin is not sunburnt as it won't be possible to tattoo you. let me know if you have any questions!
POST-TATTOO
for three weeks or until your tattoo is healed:

do not submerge yourself in water (no baths or swimming)

avoid direct sunlight for extended periods of time
-
do not wear tight straps over the tattoo

plan to have a regular cleaning schedule

DEPOSIT
to confirm your appointment an 80$ non-refundable deposit is required. this will be deducted from the total at the final session of your tattoo. the deposit can be sent by e-transfer to: bookings@laurachanelart.com
you may reschedule up to 1 week leading up to your appointment. your initial deposit can be used to reschedule TWICE for up to a year, after which point it will be forfeit. cancellation at any point will incur a complete forfeit of the deposit.
FOR GUEST SPOTS: due to advanced planning and travel costs, deposits for appointments made during a guest-spot will be forfeit when you postpone less than 1 month before the appointment. rescheduling with more than 1 month's notice will incur a 50% forfeit on your deposit.
PRICES
minimum rate/30 mins or less: 140$ (unless otherwise stated)
1 hour: 180$
over 1 hour: 160$/hour
for the time being, taxes are included within this price
tattoos longer than 5 hours will be done over a minimum of 2 sessions
