hi!!! my name is Laura-Chanel (Laura, LC). I'm a visual artist, tattoo artist and educator born & raised in Montréal, QC and currently living in Ottawa. I draw, tattoo, work with clay and make sculptures.

I studied fine arts and have been drawing since I could hold a crayon. I got into handpoke about 9 years ago out of curiosity and interest in the technique. I tattooed myself, and then friends and then started making a bit of money on the side! in 2020 I learned how to use the machine and soon started my career as a professional tattoo artist. though I'm mainly self taught, so much of my ever-evolving knowledge comes from the skilled and talented tattoo artists I am lucky enough to be surrounded by.
